1. That Ralph is thinking about how dirty he and the other boys is, shows that he's thinking about going home. He wants to go back to his home where he was clean. It shows that he's tired of being on the island and wants to get off.
2. The hunters play a game of catching a pig using Robert as the pig. They start beating on him and pulling at his skin/hair. After the group lets them go, Jack makes a joke about eating a littlun.
3. We think that Jack hates Ralph because he's jealous of the power that Ralph has and thinks that he would make a better leader. Also, because he thinks that Ralph's ideas are stupid and doesn't like being ordered around.
4. Ralph wants to hunt in the morning because it's light out and easier to see what is around. And he would feel safer during the day. Jack just wants to get it done and show that he's braver than Ralph by going at night.
Kate-I would rather hunt at night because it would be easier to creep up on the beast.
Makayla and Kenisha-We would rather hunt in the morning because it would be easier to see your surroundings and look for tracks (or things like that).
Eirene-I would do both.
5. We think that Simon thinks that because of the fear and how a lot of the boys are acting savage. The beast to the boys is savage so maybe Simon sees it that maybe one of them is the beast because of the similar characteristics.
